When I called to have his auto insurance put on hold for the 90 days he would be in boot camp per the SCRA (serviceman's civil relief act) I was told they never heard of it and the underwriting company (Commerce Insurance) hadn't either so we should just allow the insurance to laps, bring in the plates and then re-register and re-insure the vehicle when he returns for his 10 day leave!! I explained that it was a FEDERAL LAW... The response, Oh well, I have been in the insurance business for 22 years, and I have never heard of it and either has my boss. I told her to google it.. She told me to cal the insurance commissioner and complain, then said Good Luck!! How sad that ANY American Company would disrespect and treat any Military personal with such blatant disregard!!By MaryEllen Morris, August 20, 2017
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Really frustrating. I've got a small business checking account there and yes their hours are great, and I've had great service at other branches. At the Orleans branch through, I've only wasted my time. Examples: I lost a debit card and so called to see if they could order me a new one. They told me to come right in because they could make a new one on the spot. I left work early to do that, only to lose an hour while they realized nobody knew how to use their card printer. It took them 4 days to figure it out. Phone: an ATM deposit was recorded incorrectly, and I was shorted $1k. So I called and spoke to a rep who took all my info and assured me they would fix it and be in touch "shortly." A week later, having received no call or update, I called back. Person #1 was out, so I did it all again with person #2. Same thing, same non-results. So 2 weeks after the initial problem, I called yet again and spoke with Person #3, who took all the same info again. Ground Hog Day. As a customer I've definitely formed the impression that this branch is a black hole, out of which comes no help and no answers.By Nate Church, May 11, 2017
